Terms and Conditions

All Cakes made by Cake It Easy are subject to the following terms and conditions.


All fruit cakes may contain nuts, or traces of nuts or nut oil.

Cakes are made in premises in which nuts are used, every effort is taken to keep ingredients separate however cakes may contain traces of nuts or nut oil.


Sugar paste (the soft icing covering the cake) is not designed to be refrigerated and as such cakes with this icing should be stored in a cool dry place, preferably in the box they were supplied in. Refrigeration may cause colours to run.


25% of the total price is payable with order, the final balance payment is due 1 week prior to the occasion, either by cheque or cash.


Deposits are non-refundable. Full payment of cake balance is required if cancellation is within 1 month of the occasion, 50% of cake balance is required if cancellation is within 1-3 months of the occasion.


Please note cakes with sponge tiers may not be completed until the day prior to/or of the celebration to ensure the cakes are as fresh as possible.


Cakes can be delivered and set up subject to availability; any arrangements for delivery may be subject to change, however prior notice will be given where possible.

Cakes are to be collected from our premises at a pre-arranged time and date only.


We may wish to publish images of cakes created by us. We reserve the right to use images of any cake made by us in any way that we reasonably wish, for the purpose of advertising and procurement of future orders.

Return of Hired Equipment

All hired equipment must be returned within 3 days of the occasion (unless alternative arrangements have been agreed prior to occasion) or extra charges may be levied to cover further hire costs.

Any costs to repair/replace damage to hired equipment will be deducted from deposits paid.

Any disputes that cannot be resolved amicably will be settled using British Courts and Legal Proceedures.
